My Athletics

           TRAINING

 

I've always trained hard. Volleyball or Softball. I'm now starting to train correctly. I'm working with my hitting and catching coach in the off season on proper technique and form to maximize my ability. I look for a breakout Junior year and establish myself as a top athlete in both volleyball and softball.

           Volleyball & Soccer

I remember walking across the Nazareth parking lot and being asked to join the Volleyball team. I never played Volleyball and thought i was too small. I worked hard over the summer to try and get better, the coach told me "I need you on this team because the girls respond to your enthusiasm and love of the sport". I also played soccer. I didn't play soccer because I was great, I played because I wasn't, and I knew it would be a challenge for me.

           Bowling

 

Nazareth never had a bowling team and I'm not a great bowler. I wanted to change that. I met with our athletic director to discuss what it would take for Nazareth to join the academy league for bowling. The AD thought I must be this ringer that wanted to bowl. I wasn't, but I knew that some of my friends were and that we would enjoy ourselves in the winter. After many meetings and finding a coach we launched the Nazareth bowling team. I was honorary captain and never bowled above 100 but we had a league sanctioned team and i was proud of that.

           TRAVEL SOFTBALL

 

I play catcher and first base for Philadelphia Spirit 18u "A". We typically play 18u Gold showcase tournaments against some of the strongest competition on the east coast. Below are my stats for the 2015 season.
